Interested in SCUBA diving but not sure if it's for you? Let the friendly and knowledgeable professional dive team at Sound Dive Center help you Try Scuba Diving! While it is not a scuba certification course, Try Scuba Diving is a quick and easy introduction to what it's like exploring the underwater world. To sign up for our Try Scuba Diving experience, you must be at least 10 years old. It is never too late to dive in! No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but you will need to be in reasonable physical health (medical waiver required) and comfortable with basic swimming. The "try scuba diving" student will pick up gear from our dive shop and then meet with a Dive Master at the pool we use for training. Once at the pool, the student and Dive Master will review all the equipment together then proceed into the pool to practice some basic skills. This is the opportunity for you to learn how it feels to be breathing air while underwater!
